13-Year-Old Cherry School Junior High Basketball Player Karmella McCollor Dies Of Natural Cause, Leaving Her Parents Heartbroken!

Karmella McCollor and her family had moved to Cherry just this year.

A 7th-grade student and junior high girls’ basketball player from Minnesota, Karmella McCollor, took her last breath untimely at home on December 20, 2026, at a young age of 13.

A very young girl passed of natural cause. please donate if possible. This is so scary and sooo sad, I can’t even imagine

Karmella McCollor is survived by her parents, Sean and Penny McCollor, and sister, Ashley McCollor.

Likewise, she also leaves behind her grandfather, Michael Mickey McCollor, uncles Justin Kip McCollor and Jonathon McCollor, and extended family members.

Justin Kip McCollor, her uncle, expressed his grief, writing:

This one of the saddest events to happen in our family. Karmella was one of the sweetest most loving people I’ve ever met in my life. Please if you are able to help out my family in this time of tragedy it would be so appreciated.

🧡🖤There has been an unexpected passing of one of our 7th grade Cherry students, Karmella McCollor. The family transferred to Cherry this year. In their short time here, the family has become active in sports and other activities.

Meanwhile, a campaign has been created to help her family with her funeral arrangements.

The McCollor has yet to publish details surrounding Karmella’s demise as they are processing the grief.

During this difficult time, we pray for the strength of Karmella’s parents, sister, friends, teammates, and extended family.
