Luis Enrique Quiaro, a 23-year-old children’s coach from Doral, was arrested this week on charges of possessing child pornography, authorities have confirmed.

According to the Doral Police Department, Quiaro was taken into custody on Wednesday and faces two counts. He allegedly possessed child p*rnography materials.

Investigators said the case began in July 2026 after the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children received a cyber tip about child sexual abuse material being shared on WhatsApp, a messaging app.

Detectives traced the uploads to Quiaro’s phone number through a subpoena to Google.

They also reported that the files included a GIF involving an infant and an image of a girl believed to be under 10 years old.

A search warrant started at Quiaro’s home, where the police department seized multiple electronic devices for forensic review.

Quairo Being Held At Bond

Quiaro later provided a statement to investigators; that portion of the report was erased from public release.

The arrest report identified him as a children’s coach, though it did not specify the sport or organization where he worked.

Quiaro is currently being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on a $5,000 bond. The charge was connected with an investigation that started over the summer.

As the news surfaced online, many parents and individuals have questioned the authorities and schools about whether they conduct proper background checks before hiring teachers, coaches, or other staff members.

Some parents of Doral are also concerned about whether the accuser is from the same school as their children. One wrote, “Why are they not naming the school? He was working at.”

While others have said he probably took advantage of Children as he looks very young. “He looks so young.. I bet the kids trusted him,” said an individual. Another individual wrote, “These crimes versus children and epidemic.”

Some people are also thankful that the officials have caught him in time to prevent and minimize such future cases.

Most people have also demanded that he be sent to the electric chair, given the death penalty, or starve to death, or whatever makes him suffer.

However, the law suggests Quiaro faces up to five years in prison per count if convicted on the charges of possessing illegal material involving minors.
