Dylan Worthington’s death has left his family, friends, and wider community grieving the sudden loss of a young life filled with promise.
Dylan passed away unexpectedly in an accident on Wednesday, December 31, 2026. He was 19 years old.
Jo Worthington’s family first the heartbreaking news publicly through Dylan’s older brother, Blake Jo Worthington.
He confirmed that his younger brother had passed away and announced that a funeral service would be held to honor Dylan’s life.
Blake also shared details for those who wish to attend the service in person or join via livestream, allowing friends and loved ones to come together in remembrance.

Dylan belonged to the HBHS Class of 2026 and proudly represented the school during his time there.
He actively participated in the rowing program and embraced the chance to play social football.
