Former Diver and actor Jason Statham’s wife, British Model and actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, has openly discussed the heartfelt personal transformation she experienced after becoming a mother.
Following the birth of her first son, Jack, in 2017, she described the feeling as “mourning of the loss of your old life”.
She also highlighted the experience transitioning to motherhood, having “the rug pulled out from underneath me.”
This period of adjustment was challenging for the actor, who had followed a highly independent lifestyle.
The Former Diver’s wife also noted the transition took “a long time”, but over time, she adapted well in her new role, not just as a mother but a family provider. That led to a more confident and well-rounded sense of self.
The Couple is Now Blessed With Two Children
Although her early months after the birth of her first child were challenging, filled with both uncertainty and joy, she adjusted slowly.
In February 2026, Whitley and her fiancé, Jason, welcomed their second child, a daughter named Isabella James.

Huntington-Whiteley’s openness about her postpartum experiences has resonated with many mothers, who face similar challenges as they adjust to their new lives.
Despite being a mother of two and an actor/model simultaneously, she balances her professional and personal life, demonstrating that achieving personal ambitions alongside family responsibilities is complex yet achievable.
As of today, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is actively engaged in several high-profile fashion and beauty projects. She was also appointed Gisou’s first Global Ambassador in August 2026.
On the other hand, her partner is working on multiple high-profile film projects, including The Killer of Killers, Hitman, The Beekeeper 2, Shelter, and Mutiny.
