Youth Football Coach Torey Oliver from Napoleonville, LA, United States, has passed away, leaving the Oliver family and the community in deep grief.
Torey Oliver was a youth football coach at Napoleonville Middle School, where he not only coached football but also brought discipline and leadership into the lives of his athletes.
In addition to his work at the middle school, he was also involved in multiple youth sports organizations, including the Bayou Lafourche Raiders Youth Football program.
Napoleonville, Louisiana, Community Mourns the Loss of Beloved Coach Torey Oliver!
While it has not yet been disclosed how and when Coach Torey passed away, what is known is that his death was confirmed by his cousin and the school community.
Coach Torey was not just a mentor; he was also a father, a son, a good sibling, and a partner.
Torey Oliver’s death has brought deep grief not only to his family but also to the entire community, including the youth sports organizations that are mourning his loss.
Following Torey’s passing, many people have expressed their sorrow and grief through Facebook posts and comments.
One of his admirers wrote a heartfelt message in the comments, sharing memories and expressing sympathy, saying:
A very hard one for our family and whole team RIP BIG HEAD from a baby to an adult you were there watching Dai cry and holding him tight was so hard on yesterday thank you for the times you spent with him, you’ll most definitely be missed EVERY TACKLE TOUCHDOWN AND DANCE HE DO WILL ALWAYS BE IN REMEMBRANCE OF YOU
While the community processes this grief, the Bayou Lafourche Raiders Youth Football organization has planned to honor Coach Torey by releasing balloons.
The honoring event is scheduled to take place on Friday, January 16th, at Napoleonville Middle School.
Those who wish to take part in the event are encouraged to bring black and silver balloons and share memories of the good times with Coach Torey.
As of now, the Oliver family has not announced details for the visitation and funeral, but they may do so soon, after taking time to process their loss.
While the family goes through this difficult time, we would like to express our sincere condolences to the Olivers, friends, family, and everyone who knew Torey.
