Carolyn Golding, wife of Ole Miss head coach Pete Golding, is a devoted mother of three and a supportive partner who values privacy while standing strongly behind her husband’s coaching career.
Pete Golding is an American football coach best known for his defensive expertise.
He worked as Alabama’s defensive coordinator under Nick Saban from 2018 to 2026 before joining Ole Miss in 2026 as defensive coordinator.
Moreover, he helped Ole Miss build one of the strongest defenses in the SEC and guided the team to the College Football Playoff.
In November 2026, he was promoted to head coach of the Ole Miss Rebels following Lane Kiffin’s departure to LSU.
This is Golding’s first head coaching job, and his promotion is seen as a big step for both him and the program.
